Two Urban Villages in Seribu Island Run Assessment

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village is representing Seribu Selatan Sub-district and Panggang Island is representing Seribu Utara Island Sub-district.

Urban Village Competition Field Verification to Complete this Week

Seribu Island Regent, Junaedi, said today's assessment was carried out for the exposure stage. Previously, administrative and field assessments had been carried out.

"After going through long stages starting from the sub-district level, administration and field verification, a presentation is now being carried out by each urban village head, which will then be assessed," he said, Monday (5/20).

He hoped this activity can motivate urban village heads to continue to improve regional progress and improve the welfare of local communities. Because, one winner will be selected to compete at the Jakarta Province level.

"This activity can certainly be a motivation for urban village heads to solve existing problems, such as malnutrition, unemployment, cleanliness, and others," he added.

Meanwhile, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Sidartawan, feels grateful to be able to represent Seribu Selatan Island Sub-district.

"The registration and administration process for the competition does not take long because all the data in the area is ready," he stated.

He stated that points assessed by the assessment team in the area, such as innovation in reducing stunting rates to reach zero stunting.

"There is also the creation of an expansion of the Breadfruit Garden because Untung Jawa Island is famous for its local products Breadfruit Chips and Cermai pickles as well as efforts to follow up on floods and west winds," he stated.
